This is one of the biggest functionality improvements I need from Notion, not only from a filmmaker's point of view but from that of any user. I can't tell how frustrating it is to: a) try to open a page in a new tab because it opens by default as a new window and b) to want to have a split view of two documents without having to open a new window and making it system wide in the device I am using.

With this option, it's easy to see two pages side by side and still have the same functionalities available to edit and interact with them.

When working on this I had the following questions: should "Notes" be somehow linked (but not dependent) to the pages in which they are created? And in doing so, does the option to create a new Note have to take into account in which document I am creating it? Those are things I don't really know and couldn't decide as of the moment of conception, and it's why the options are on both sides.

Each view is resizable just like columns are inside Notion, and it's just a matter of dragging the division to one side or the other to leave the split view.
